Jennie Litt

Vocalist, lyricist, recording artist, teacher, and director Jennie Litt began her professional life writing fiction. After laboring a dozen years on the first draft of a novel, while publishing award-winning short fiction and performing on the side, she made the switch to cabaret and songwriting. The fact that she could finish a lyric in well under a decade convinced Jennie that songwriting beat fiction writing all to hell. A two-time ASCAPlus Award winner, she has performed at all the major NYC clubs, including 54 Below, The Metropolitan Room, and Stage 72, and has coached cabaret at Vassar College and presented a master class for the New York Singing Teachers Association.
